HERE I GO AGAIN

Here I Go Again

Here I go again;
Down this road that leads to sorrow and sin.
The Devil seems to know,
When I let my guard get low.
When temptation is near, we are told the Lord will give
us a way out;
So why don't I always take this route?
All I know is this: the Lord loves me and I Him;
And Jesus' shed blood covers my sins.
I am comforted by this one fact;
Jesus defeated the evil one with one mighty act.
He gave all that he could give;
So that I might live.
