THE ADVENTURE AT THE ROPE COURSE

We had our training day for the DC Communication training team today. In the morning we did a workshop on writing headlines. The real fun started in the afternoon when we went out on a ropes course. We had to do all kinds of activities designed to promote team work. If you didn't work as team you didn't get your mission accomplished. Most of the tasks consisted of getting from one place to another with out touching the ground. The most interesting one was being led around blindfolded, especially the stairs. Let me tell you they were steep! It was a fun time and we completed all the tasks in short order. I guess we work well as a team. If you have chance to do something like this you should. We did the low course, but they have ones that are a little higher off the ground also. I hope those of you from work didn't miss me much. I know I was in a much better place today.
