Some flags I saw flying today
It was flag day today so I thought I would do a little tribute to our Grand Ole Flag. As I was walking today I noticed all the flags flying from the houses and started thinking of what it means to me. It is not only a symbol of this country, it represents what we stand for. I remember the people who have died for the freedoms we have today. It was fitting that some old revolutionary war battle flags returned to the US from Great Britain today. They were captured during the war. These flags were the heart and soul of the regiments and men died to protect them. One of the flags still had the blood of the one of the standard bearers still on it. So on this day we should remember what the Old Glory has stood for over the years. MAY GOD'S PEACE BE WITH YOU 'TILL NEXT TIME.- THE GREAT ONE
