We started our Vacation Bible School at church tonight. I took a few pictures. We are doing a Bethlaham Village setting. We are all suppose to be chararcter that would be around at the time of Jesus' brith. I am a toy maker. They made dolls and other toys out of clay back then. So that is what I was suppose to use. Big mistake. The new word for next week is Play-Doh. The clay was a real mess and expensive. Since mine was hands on booth all of the kids wanted to go to it. I went through my alotment of clay in no time. So for now on it is going to play-doh. It was fun and a learning experience. One thing I can't figure out though is how someone got a cell phone back then. You can see P. Steve with one in the pictures above. Just a little slip.
