LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE STORY.
FULL OF ALL KINDS OF GLORY.
IT STARTED OUT AS A TYPICAL MORNING.
ACTUALLY IT WAS RATHER BORING.
WITH NOBODY TO TALK TOO
AND NOT MUCH VOLUME TO DO.
MUCH TO MY SUPRISE AND GLEE
THE DAY STARTED IN DECASING FOR ME!
IN STATION ONE WAS I ASSIGNED,
SO I TOOK THIS AS A SIGN.
BEING IN PATTY'S USUALL PLACE,
I KNEW I HAD TO SET A GOOD PACE.
I DID THE BEST I COULD;
AND WHEN THE LIGHT CAME ON, FIGURED I DID RATHER GOOD.
AS ROUND TOW BEGAN, I FOUND OUT THE MEANING OF THE SIGN.
TO "D DOG" I WAS ASSIGNED.
SO TO "D" AISLE I DID GO,
WITH SHIRLEY AND BRUCE IN TOW.
WITHOUT RANDI, SARA AND OTHERS TO HARRAS ME,
I DIDN'T EVEN HEAR " I GOT TO GO PEE";
SO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ASLE DID I SPEND THE ROUND,
MORE OR LESS JUST STANDING AROUND.
AFTER LUCH ROUND THREE STARTED WITH A SHOCK,
I GOT THE DREADED "DOT".
SO OUT TO "D DOG" I DID GO
WITH SUCH A CHEERY GLOW!
AND MUCH TO MY SHIGRIN,
THERE WAS NOTHING TO IN MY AREA ONCE AGAIN!
BUT SHRLEY DID GET HER LIGHTS A FLASHING,
SO HERE CAME THE SUPERVISOR TO THE AISLE A DASHING.
AND ALAS
I HEAR HIM SAY "COULD YOU GO HELP THAT LASS"
THE DAY ENDED AS IT HAD BEGUN,
WITH ME ONCE AGAIN IN DECASING STATION ONE!
I GUESS YOU WERE WONDERING ABOUT THE PROMISED GLORY,
WELL I LIED, BUT YOU STILL GOT A GOOD STORY!
This is for all of my friends from Key 2. It happened pretty much like that. A rather boring day with not much to do. Wednesday was much the same and that is when I wrote the poem to kill some time. 'TILL NEXT TIME. OH AND DON'T FORGET YOU ONLY HAVE 6 SHOPPING DAYS LEFT.
THE GREAT ONE
