A TIME FOR CHANGE

1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Well as this verse says there is a time for everything. For me it is time of change. I got the news the other day that I will be changing shifts next week. I will be going to the Key 1(Tuesday-Friday). This will be the first time I haven't worked on the weekend for almost nine years. It is something I have really thought about doing for the last couple of years, but just made excuses not to. Finally last June I made up my mind that I was going to do it. It just took them that long to but up a bid for my department. This will mean a big change in routine not only for me, but for other people around me also. Mom is going to have to get used to doing all her appointments on Mondays or in the afternoons. I can now harass my family and old friends more who didn't get to see a lot of me because of my shift. So get ready everyone. I will miss all of my friends on my current shift, but this will better for me in the long run. I can watch the Chiefs again, go to church and actually have a social life maybe. 'TILL NEXT TIME.
THE GREAT ONE
